We’re proud to highlight Ken Grimes, Senior Managing Director and Partner at Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group, who served as Co-Chair of the ULI South Carolina 16th Annual Capital Markets Conference alongside Katie Blum of East West Partners. Ken not only helped lead this important event, but also delivered the opening remarks, setting the stage for two days of insightful discussions and thought leadership in the capital markets sector.

In addition, Lance Patterson, CEO and Founder of Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group, attended the conference and participated in the session “Capital Confusion 2.0 – Emerging from the Fog: A Capital Markets Discussion.” Lance shared his expertise alongside a distinguished panel of industry leaders: John Cannon, Pinnacle Financial Partners; Robert Niedzwiecki, JP Morgan Investment Management; and Rachel Hunter-Goldman, KKR. Together, they provided valuable perspectives on the evolving landscape of capital markets.

Lance Patterson Serves as Panelist for BisNow’s Atlanta Construction & Development Summit

Lance Patterson, CEO of Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group, was a panelist at the recent BisNow Atlanta Construction & Development Summit. He served on the Project Financing Outlook panel alongside Jacob Vallo, CIO at Lalani Ventures; Katherine Mosley, Partner at Tribridge Residential; and Anthony Wilcox, Manager of Real Estate Tax at CL (moderator).

The panel explored the current state of commercial real estate capital markets in Atlanta, as well as broader trends and outlooks across the U.S. market.

Patterson CEO Participates in ICSC Southeast Panel

Patterson CEO, Lance Patterson, participated in a real estate capital markets panel discussion at the ICSC Southeast retail conference recently held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. He was joined by panelists Michael Tesler, Executive Vice President and Regional President of Ameris Bank and Derek Waltchack, Founding Partner of Shannon Waltchack. The panel was moderated by Lori Schneider, Senior Managing Director of Investments of Marcus and Millichap.

Lance Patterson Meets First Georgia State University Scholarship Recipients

Lance Patterson recently met the first two recipients of a scholarship he and his wife, Jill McEntegart, endowed in 2021 through the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. The Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group Scholarship is aimed at promoting racial equity and diversification in professions related to commercial real estate. The recipients are Mario Coakley Jr. (left) and Adefola Samuel Odutola (right). Both students are pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance & Real Estate.

The group will address the way in which the recession is affecting appetite for Atlanta CRE among private and institutional investors, how the capital stack has changed in today’s market, and which alternative funding strategies are most effective.
