MARGARET WELLS

Since joining Patterson in the summer of 2013, Margaret has been directly involved in the closing of over 70 transactions encompassing $2.5 billion of debt and equity placement in markets throughout the Southeast. Margaret relies on her accumulated experience to serve in a senior role on a deal team where she oversees analytical production and interfaces with capital and clients.  Other primary responsibilities include managing and training the analyst team, as well as serving as the primary support for Patterson’s Nashville office.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Patterson, Margaret was an intern at Walker & Dunlop, a premier commercial real estate finance group based in Bethesda, Maryland. At Walker & Dunlop, Margaret was responsible for monitoring the loans in the entire Fannie Mae and Ginnie Mae portfolios for compliance with market requirements and with the company’s standards.

LIFESTYLE

Margaret is originally from Raleigh, NC and currently lives in Nashville with her husband and son.  Margaret loves spending time with her family, cooking, and running.  She recently completed her third marathon.
